Synopsis

Strangers in the Night is a double portrait. One of Pit Vinandy as a civil person, and one of Cyber Piper, his virtual and scenery double that evolves successful in Second Life.Cyber Piper has not only won the vote for the best artist in Second Life at the Virtual Music Awards, but he’s currently recreating the City of Luxembourg in 3D. Furthermore he’s virtually married to an unknown women from New York, that he has never seen. The film is accompanying him to a trip to this City where he will meet her in the Central Park. Between marginality and creativity, between illusion and confrontation, the film tells the story of an extraordinary man whose double life raises questions which are very up-to-date: those of a hyper communicative society which has difficulties live in the moment.
