Synopsis

Edgar is eleven years old and longs for an escape from his mundane world. Luckily for him, his enigmatic Uncle Montague lives nearby in a Victorian mansion crammed with the most curious of items. And there is nothing Edgar loves more than listening to his Uncle recount some of the frightening stories he knows inspired by each and every item.

With each episode Edgar is treated to a new story but as each cautionary tale unfolds, an eerie pattern starts to emerge of young lives gone awry in the most terrifying and unusual of ways. As the mystery builds, Edgar begins to wonder just how Uncle Montague knows all these ghastly stories. Until Edgar discovers that these tales that his Uncle recites are not so much works of imagination but instead dreadful lurking memories. Memories of an earlier time in which Uncle Montague lived a very different life to his present solitary existence. Tales of Terror brings back the thrilling art of the Victorian ghost story with a modern twist and comes to life through a unique and striking art style.
