Synopsis

In the 18th century, four extraordinary female pirates freed themselves from the yoke of patriarchal and colonial Western powers to lead adventurous lives. Driven by the conviction of a new egalitarian society, they sailed and commanded crews, while not hesitating to cross-dress and take up arms. They even became the first Abolitionists in history, helping slaves to free themselves by joining their crews.
