At the invitation of the Lëtzebuerger Film Fong, the audiovisual production sector met on 10 and 11 November at the Tramschapp cultural centre to take part in the second "Assises du cinéma luxembourgeois", the first having been organised in 2010.

The aim of the conference is to analyse the opportunities and challenges facing the audiovisual production sector.

After a welcome from Xavier Bettel, Minister for Communications and the Media, who had come to support the entire profession, Guy Daleiden, Director of Film Fong, introduced the subject with a presentation tracing the 25 years of support for audiovisual production.

Around a hundred people, including representatives of professional associations (ULPA, LARS, ALTA, actors.lu, FLAC), independent producers, representatives of the CNA, the Ministry of Culture, RTL, cinema exhibitors, etc., were able to discuss and debate a wide range of subjects, including the Fund's support policy, the promotion of national talent, the visibility and exploitation of films, training and opportunities for synergies in the audiovisual sector.

You will find below the conclusions and proposals arising from these debates.
