The 3e edition of the NUMIX LAB will take place from 22 to 26 November 2022 between Luxembourg, France and Germany.

Over the four days, as in previous years, more than 100 professionals from Canada, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland will come together to take part in a wide range of panels, visits and meetings.

On 24 and 25 November, the trade delegation will be in Luxembourg. In conjunction with a panel dedicated to the digital conversion of emblematic industrial sites, a route will be planned to discover the cultural programme organised for Esch 2022 - European Capital of Culture. The day of 25 November will be more specifically devoted to new forms of exploitation and distribution of digital productions (virtual reality, augmented reality or mixed) in the form of panels, pitches and networking sessions, all of which will be enhanced by visits to innovative Luxembourg cultural venues such as Mudam (Musée d'art contemporain du Luxembourg), the Rotondes site and the Centre Culturel de Rencontre Abbaye de Neumünster (neimënster).

On 22 and 23 November, the NUMIX LAB will be held in Metz, France. in collaboration with International Meetings on Culture, Knowledge and Immersive Environments organised by the Grand Est Region. More than 30 international speakers (cultural institutions, local authorities, artists and production studios) will discuss the challenges and opportunities offered by digital immersion in different cultural fields. They will be sharing their views on the benefits of mapping in terms of regional appeal, and the potential offered by the use of digital technology to enhance the value of cultural heritage, the transmission of scientific knowledge and artistic creation. The French-speaking delegation will be travelling to Germany to visit the Völklinger Hütte steelworks and meet a number of German companies working in the field of digital creativity.

On 26 November, the ZKM in Germany, one of the world's largest digital art centres will be on offer to round off these four days of discoveries and encounters, with a host of international co-productions.

The NUMIX LAB is organised by Xn Quebec (Association des producteurs et productrices d'expériences numériques) and {DIGITAL CORRESPONDENCE]in collaboration in Luxembourg with the Film Fund and Esch2022, European Capital of Culture.
