Neimënster Abbey was the venue on 26 and 27 October for the annual meeting of the EFARN (European Film Agency Research Network) group, a department of the European agencies bringing together the directors of the film authorities.

The aim of the EFARN network is to collect and exchange all current information and practices at pan-European level concerning audiovisual productions in order to work towards improving the availability of data, with a view to creating joint projects.

Guy Daleiden, Director of the Lëtzebuerger Filmfong and Vice-President of the EFAD's Association, opened the seminar with a presentation of the audiovisual production sector in Luxembourg. He stressed the importance of reliable data and the possibility of exchanging this information between the various European film agencies. "This makes for greater transparency and efficiency in our networking work".
