Call for entries - "Destin(s) de la Grande Région" series and feature-length fiction writing workshop

The CinEuro project is inviting applications for a writing and concept development workshop for fictional series and feature films.
In collaboration with Obella Editions, their aim is to support 8 to 10 scriptwriters in the development of an artistic adaptation based on historical subjects, in order to bring these stories to life on screen.
The scriptwriters will be chosen on the basis of original scientific work on the "9 Destin(s) of the Greater Region", which highlight individual or collective life stories illustrating the relationships, through the ages, between the border territories of France, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands, and will serve as a dramaturgical basis for the scriptwriters selected.
As well as being mentored by professional scriptwriters, this workshop will give authors the opportunity to present their work to a panel of international producers.
Taking place between June and October 2022, the workshop will be divided into 5 writing sessions, with travel and accommodation costs covered for participants.

Auschreibung - Autorenworkshop für Serien- und Filmkonzepe im Bereich Fiktion "Schicksa(e) der Grossregion

Das Projekt CinEuro ruft in Zusammenarbeit mit Obella Editions zur Bewerbung für einen Workshop zurKonzeptentwicklung und zum Schreiben fiktionaler Serien und Spielfilme auf. Der Workshop verfolgt das Ziel, 8 bis 10 Drehbuchautoren bei der Entwicklung einer künstlerischen Adaptation von historischen Stoffen zu begleiten, um diese Geschichten auf die Leinwand zu bringen.

Bisher unveröffentlichte wissenschaftliche Arbeiten über 9 "Schicksal(e) der Großregion", die individuelle oder kollektive Lebenswege beleuchten, welche die Beziehungen zwischen den
Grenzgebieten Frankreichs, Deutschlands, Luxemburgs, Belgiens, der Niederlande und der Schweiz im Laufe der Zeit illustrieren, dienen den Teilnehmenden dabei als dramaturgische Grundlage. As well as being run by professional draughtsmen, the workshop also offers the participants the opportunity to present their work to an international panel of producers.

Der Workshop ist in fünf Sessions, zwischen Juni und Oktober 2022, mit entsprechenden Zwischenergebnissen gegliedert. Reise- und Unterbringungskosten der Teilnehmer werden übernommen.
