CINEAST - Central and Eastern European Film Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary!

The Film Fund Luxembourg is a partner of CinEast (ciné-East), which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year!
The Central and Eastern European Film Festival in Luxembourg in a few figures:
- held every October since 2008; 10,400 festival-goers in 2016
- over 60 feature films and more than 40 short films by directors from 19 Central and Eastern European countries* over 18 days
- around a hundred screenings in a dozen cinemas in Luxembourg City and other cities
- a selection of outstanding fiction, documentary and animated films
- official competition with prizes awarded by an international jury, a press jury and the public
- around thirty guests (directors, actors, producers, etc.)
- children's programmes, school screenings, mini-retrospectives, classics, etc.
- events: concerts, evening events, exhibitions, debates, themed evenings, culinary events and more.
