Film and audiovisual professions presented at the 32nd Foire de l'Etudiant
With more than 250 exhibitors from some twenty different countries, the Student Fair is the key event in the Grande Région for information on higher education.
It is aimed at students who want precise information to help them prepare for their studies.
The Fund and the National Audiovisual Centre (CNA) are taking part in the 32nd edition, which is being held this Thursday 8 and Friday 9 November 2018 from 10am to 6.30pm at LuxExpo The Box.
Go to the hall 7 at stand 7B09 to find out about careers, training and studies in the film, audiovisual and photography industries.
You'll find documentation, live demonstrations (2D/3D animation) and meetings with a host of industry professionals including Ayshea Halliwell, director, Paul Simon, production manager at Calach Films, Olivier Waldbillig, camera operator, Aline Salvi, Fabrique d'images representative, Stéphane Nedez, storyboarder/layout artist and Romulad Verdier, computer specialist, both from Studio 352, Michel Tereba, director/actor, Liam Mc Evoy, filmmaker & photographer, Brice Montagne and Luc Schiltz, actors, Nilton Martins from Castinglux, Ady El Assal, producer from Wady Films and Thierry Besseling, director.
Students from the BTS Cinema and Audiovisual supervised by Anne Schroeder, will also be present on the stand on Friday 9th with a mini-studio to record interviews with the professionals present and people interested in the film industry.
Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, who was visiting the stand, took part in the exercise to the great satisfaction of the students.
Le Luxembourg City Film Festival is also here to present its programme Young Audiences and its 9th edition of the festival, which runs from 7 to 17 March 2019.
