Shoah survivor and author of the book Her Name Shall Remain Unforgotten, Marion Deichmann has shared her story and that of her mother around the world. Fleeing Nazi persecution, Marion's mother, Alice Deichmann, was arrested during the Vél d'Hiv round-ups in Paris in July 1942 and deported to Drancy and then Auschwitz-Birkenau. Marion was never able to see her mother again, but she has devoted her life to fighting intolerance. More recently, she has chosen to tell her story in the virtual reality film Lettres de Drancy (Letters from Drancy), on show this year at the VR Pavilion in Luxembourg.

Before fleeing to Paris, Marion spent part of her childhood in Luxembourg. In a discussion with historian and Associate Professor at the University of Luxembourg Denis Scuto, she will talk about her life and her mother's tragedy.
