Deux" wins Best First Film at the César Awards
The feature film Two by director Filippo Meneghetti, co-produced in Luxembourg by Tarantula (Donato Rotunno and Elise André), won the César for Best First Film at Friday night's 46e César awards ceremony in Paris.
This dramatic comedy Two continues its world tour, accumulating festival selections, nominations and prestigious awards, including this latest accolade at the César Awards.. Just recently, in the race for American statuettes, the film was shortlisted at the Golden Globes and we can't wait for the Oscar nominations to be announced. The twenty days of filming for Two in Luxembourg took place in mid-October 2018 with the participation of many Luxembourg technicians and actors, including Céline Bodson (chief sound operator), Angelo Dos Santos (chief sound editor), Vitalijus Kiselius (chief electrician), Magdalena Labuz (costumes), Katja Reinert (head of make-up), Laurent Wallerang (head stagehand) and actors Eugénie Anselin, Aude-Laurence Biver, Véronique Fauconnet, Denis Jousselin, Stéphane Robles, Gilles Soeder, Hervé Sogne and Jérôme Varanfrain.
The film, a tale of lesbian love, is always playing in Luxembourg and also available on the sooner.lu platform in Luxembourg.
