A successful week for Luxembourg's audiovisual production sector

Four co-productions won awards at European festivals this week:

Two Luxembourg films won prizes at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival. Fire will come by Oliver Laxe, co-produced by Tarantula Luxembourg, won the Alexandre d'Or for Best Feature Film and Animation Film co-produced by Melusine Productions, The Swallows of Kabul by Zabou Breitman and Éléa Gobbé-Mévellec, for its part, was awarded the Prix Open Horizons.

The production company a_BAHN won top honours at the prestigious VR Days Europe in Amsterdam with the Halo Award for 7 Lives by Jan Kounen and Creative Accomplishment Halo Award for Cosmos Within Us by Tupac Martir.

All four productions were supported by the Film Fund Luxembourg. These awards once again demonstrate the quality of Luxembourg co-productions, as well as their international reach.
