The film "House of Boys" by Luxembourg director Jean-Claude Schlim won the 2011 Audience Award at the Belgium Gay and Lesbian Festival.

The film deals with a moving love story between two young men, one of whom is HIV-positive.

Jean-Claude Schlim has worked for some twenty years in the Luxembourg film industry as executive producer on prestigious co-productions, including Peter Greenaway's "8 1/2 Women", Roman Coppola's "CQ", Michael Radford's "The Merchant of Venice" and Volker Schloendorff's "The Ninth Day".

"House of Boys" is his first film as a director, for which he was awarded the "Lëtzebuerger Filmpräis"(Luxembourg Film Prize).

The film, which has been shown at a number of film festivals, including the Sydney, Amsterdam, Chicago and Paris gay and lesbian festivals, won 87.9% of the votes at the Belgium Gay and Lesbian Festival.
