Launch of the fifth call for projects for the Luxembourg-Portugal Co-Development Fund

Since its creation in Cannes in 2021, the Luxembourg-Portugal Co-Development Fund has been supporting co-development between producers from the two countries, in order to promote the creation and distribution of European films and audiovisual series. The fund enables producers based in Portugal and Luxembourg to submit projects for feature films or fiction or animation series with a cultural content likely to appeal to audiences in both countries.

This collaboration between Portugal's Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual (ICA) and the Film Fund Luxembourg (FFL), aims to encourage regular, high-quality co-productions. Projects must have cultural, social and/or economic content that is important for relations between Luxembourg and Portugal.

Le fifth call for projects is now open. Since the first call, 7 projects have already been supported.

Producers can submit their applications until 28 February 2025.
