The Trophées Francophones 2015: selection
The 3rd edition of the Trophées Francophones du Cinéma supported by ATFCiné (a Canadian association) has just released its selection! It includes 3 feature films from Luxembourg:
Baby(a)lone directed by Donato Rotunno and co-produced by Iris Productions
Black Harvest directed by Jean-Louis Schuller and Sean Clark and produced by Antevita Films
Mammejong directed by Jacques Molitor and co-produced by Lucil Film
The finalists will be announced on 21 September. The Trophées Francophones du Cinéma awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 5 December 2015 at the Palais de la Culture in Abidjan and will be broadcast on all TV5Monde networks.

As a reminder, the association's objective is to award ten prizes dedicated to the cinema of the countries of the French-speaking world at an annual ceremony, the Trophées Francophones du Cinéma, highlighting ten outstanding works and artists from the cinematographic production of these countries; each year, to put together a panorama of the diversity of cinematographic production in the countries of the French-speaking world, the Collection Cinéma et Francophonie de l'année; to bring together a group of French-speaking cultural personalities keen to support cinema and the French-speaking world, the Académie Francophone du Cinéma, who will vote on the artists and films to be awarded the Trophées; to organise an exceptional event each year in a French-speaking country, based around the screening in cinemas for the widest possible audience of the finalist films chosen by the Académie Francophone du Cinéma from the Cinéma et Francophonie collection; to bring together around the event a number of projects designed to boost the host country's film and audiovisual industry; to broadcast the Trophées Francophones du Cinéma awards ceremony on television and on the internet in order to ensure that it reaches the widest possible audience of French-speaking people throughout the world.
