5th Luxembourg Filmprize Awards!
The 5th edition of the Luxembourg Film Prize took place on 9 March 2012 in Mondorf-les-Bains, Luxembourg under the patronage of the ministers in charge of the audiovisual sector, François Biltgen, minister of communications and media and Octavie Modert, minister of culture.
8 prizes were awarded: Best feature film, Best short film, Best documentary, best animated film, Best coproduction, Best technical and artistic contribution and a Young Talent Award.
Reminder: The Luxembourg Film Prize was created in 2003 to reward the best contributions in Luxembourg cinema, to showcase the works of quality, to promote the development of the national film industry and to draw public attention to Luxembourg's productions and coproductions.

Winners of the 5th Lëtzebuerger Filmpräis!
On Friday 9 March 2012, the 5th edition of the Lëtzebuerger Filmpräis took place at the Chapito by Casino 2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains.
The ceremony took place under the patronage of the Luxembourg ministers responsible for the audiovisual sector, François Biltgen, Minister of Communications and Media, and Octavie Modert, Minister of Culture.
8 prizes were awarded: Best Luxembourg Film, Best Short Film, Best Animation, Best Co-Production, Best Technical and Artistic Contribution, Best Documentary and the Young Hope Award.
As a reminder: The Lëtzebuerger Filmpräis was created in 2003 to reward the best contributions to Luxembourg cinema, to highlight quality works, to encourage cinematographic creation, to promote the development of the film industry in Luxembourg and to draw the public's attention to Luxembourg productions.

Die 5. Ausgabe des Luxemburger Filmpreis hat am 9. März 2012 in Mondorf-les-Bains, Luxemburg, unter der Schirmherrschaft der Minister verantwortlich für den audiovisuellen Sektor, François Biltgen, Minister für Kommunikation und Medien und Octavie Modert, Kulturministerin.
8 wurden Preise wurden vergeben, Bester Spielfilm, Bester Kurzfilm, Bester Dokumentarfilm, Bester Animationsfilm, Beste Koproduktion, Bester technischer und künstlerischen Beitrag sowie ein Nachwuchspreis.
Zur Erinnerung: Der Luxemburg Filmpreis wurde 2003 geschaffen um besten luxemburger Beiträge fürs Kino zu belohnen, um Werke von Qualität zu präsentieren, um die Entwicklung der nationalen Filmindustrie zu fördern und um die Öffentlichkeit aufmerksam auf die Luxemburger Produktionen und Koproduktionen zu machen.
