Le Baltic Event Coproduction Marketthe largest co-production market in the Baltic Sea region, was held alongside the Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn (Estonia) from 21 to 24 November, bringing together just over 400 film professionals from the Baltic States, the new countries of Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, the Nordic countries, Georgia, Russia, Ukraine and the rest of Europe. During a round-table discussion focusing on the development of the audiovisual sector, Guy Daleiden, Director of the Fund, presented the Fund's policy and support mechanism. Paul Thiltges, President of ULPA (Union Luxembourgeoise de la production audiovisuelle) and Jani Thiltges (Head of Studies EAVE) answered questions from the audience about co-production opportunities with Luxembourg. At the end of the presentation, Guy Daleiden thanked the organisers, saying: "The Fund is delighted to be working with a young, creative and dynamic region that is likely to offer interesting and innovative co-production opportunities for Luxembourg professionals".
