Luxembourg-Portugal co-development fund for audiovisual projects: 3rd call for projects launched!

Since Portugal (Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual (ICA) and Luxembourg (Film Fund Luxembourg) have set up a Fund in Cannes in 2021 to encourage co-production between producers from the two countries who share the same vision of European film and audiovisual creation and distribution. Independent producers based in Portugal and Luxembourg can apply to co-develop a feature film or a fiction or animation series, with cultural content likely to be of interest to audiences in each country.

Since then, 2 calls for projects have been issued and a total of 6 projects have been supported by the Fund.

The third call for projects is now open from 30.11.2023 and producers can apply until 8 February 2024!
