This year, Luxembourg is in the spotlight at the 81st Venice Film Festivalwhich will be held from 28 August to 7 September as part of the famous    Biennale di Venezia(Contemporary Art Exhibition), and particularly at the Venice Production Bridgewhere it will share a joint focus with French-speaking Belgium (Wallonia-Brussels) under the name The Center of Attraction".

Le Venice Production Bridge is the film market of the Venice International Film Festival, which runs from 29 August to 3 September. It was created to promote networking, financing and co-production opportunities in the international film industry. The Film Fund Luxembourg will be represented there with a delegation of professionals from the audiovisual production sector, with promotional stands dedicated to both classic and innovative projects.

Their Royal Highnesses, the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess, will honour the event with their presence, lending their prestigious support to all Luxembourg creators, artists and professionals. They will be accompanied by the Minister for Culture, Éric Thill, who will be highlighting the importance and high quality of Luxembourg's artistic scene, while strengthening international cultural links.

To showcase Luxembourg's dynamism and creativity, the visit will include meetings with representatives of cultural institutions, a visit to the film market, panels dedicated to classic cinema and immersive works, and screenings of Luxembourg XR creations selected in competition at the Festival.

Ito Meikyu by Boris Labbé, a Les Films Fauves (Gilles Chanial and Govinda Van Maele) co-production with France.
