Make-up artist Katja Reinert Alexis has died: Luxembourg cinema is orphaned once again!

We are deeply saddened to learn of the sudden death of make-up artist Katja Reinert Alexis. Katja was one of those professional make-up artists who practised her craft with passion and dedication in a variety of fields, not least on film sets.

She was an exceptional artist who accompanied the very beginnings of Luxembourg cinema and inspired many vocations. This pioneer will leave an indelible mark on the world of national cinema and we will never forget her.

In leaving us far too soon, Katja leaves a great void and we pay tribute to her work and immense talent, which were present in many films over the course of her long career.
