Following the launch of the Luxembourg-Canada incentive for the co-development and co-production of audiovisual projects, the Film Fund and the Canada Media Fund have decided to grant assistance to 5 projects out of a total of 8 submissions:

Co-development aid :

- Cracké Wacky Island > Zeilt productions (LU) / Productions Squeeze (CA) > Innovative interactive application >19,841€ (FFL) / 69,476 $CA (FMC)

- Cult > Samsa Film (LU) / Omni Film Drama Development (CA) > Fiction series > 32,500 € (FFL) / 50,000 $CA (FMC)

- Eureka > Samsa Film (LU) / Six Island Productions (CA) > Fiction series > 32,500 € (FFL) / 50,000 $CA (FMC)

- Ghostdance > a_Bahn (LU) / Urbania Media (CA) > Transmedia (feature film, documentary series and internet platform) > €40,398 (FFL) / €34,000 $CA (FMC)

Co-production support :

- The Virtual Reality adventure of the Playmobil film > Bidibul Productions (LU) / Kaïbou Production (CA) > Interactive game > €156,000 (FFL) / €240,000 $CA (FMC)

As a reminder: to be eligible, projects must come from producers who meet the criteria of each organisation. Projects supported at the development stage will be drama or animation series, animated feature films and digital media projects. The Incentive Measure will also fund digital media projects (including virtual or augmented reality, transmedia projects and enabling technologies) at the production stage. A selection committee made up of representatives from the Film Fund and the FMC evaluates and selects the projects to be supported.
