The Dark Side of the Moon is a German-Luxembourg co-production between Port-au-Prince and Iris Productions, most of which will be shot in Luxembourg between now and the end of the year.
The Dark Side of the Moon is a psychological thriller that tells the story of Urs Blank, an eminent business lawyer specialising in corporate mergers, who is looking for new horizons. He believes that Lucille, a young hippy, is the answer to his identity crisis. During a ceremony in the forest, the young woman introduces him to hallucinogenic mushrooms, and suddenly everything changes. Urs eats a little-known mushroom with effects that are as fearsome as they are unexpected. His partners begin to worry about the firm's reputation, while Urs has to manage a major pharmaceutical merger. Obsessed by his metamorphosis, Urs flees their world to spend his time in the forest, where he is overcome by increasingly violent impulses...
