Sunny Side of the Doc 2023: Luxembourg with a Franco Doc stand

Sunny Side of the Doc has been bringing together the international documentary community for over 30 years and organises events and activities throughout the year, culminating each June (this year from 19 to 22 June) in its flagship event: the professional market in La Rochelle.

The Film Fund and Wallonie Bruxelles Images (BE) have been organising an umbrella stand called FRANCO DOC since 2009 to welcome and inform documentary professionals attending the show.

Innovation, xr and immersive content at the heart of sunny side of the doc 2023

Sunny Side of the Doc is today unveiling the Innovation section of its 2023 edition, with a series of meetings devoted entirely to innovative experiences and new narratives. With the aim of highlighting international creation and innovation, the event is another great opportunity to bring together producers, studios, cultural institutions, creators, broadcasters and decision-makers.
In this new configuration, the Innovation section will run throughout the four days of the market. Experts from all over the world will come together for conferences, masterclasses and case studies, addressing the industry's main challenges in relation to innovation, and XR in particular.

Xn Quebecpartner of the Film Fund Luxembourg on immersive content initiatives, is presenting a selection of VR works at theInnovative Studio in La Rochelle! His selection includes Otos' Planet (prototype) (Julien Becker & Gwenael François) co-produced in Luxembourg by the company Skill Lab.
