Support for creation: 3 series projects supported by the Lëtzebuerger Filmfong and RTL
The Lëtzebuerger Filmfong and RTL are pleased to announce the projects selected as part of the two 2024 calls for projects aimed at supporting the development of audiovisual concepts and formats. This initiative aims to strengthen their collaboration and encourage the creation of series for broadcast on RTL's various channels.
Of the 17 proposals submitted, three projects will receive development support, representing a total budget of €110,000.
Here is the list of projects selected and the amounts awarded:
- Verdiewen - Fiction series - Author : Thierry Faber - Applicant : Samsa Film - €40,000
- Immo Schroeder - Fiction series - Authors: Louis Loschetter, Philip Michels - Applicant: Philip Michels - €30,000
- Troublemaker - D'Serie - Fiction series - Authors: Govinda Van Maele, Roxanne Peguet, Andy Bausch - Applicant: Samsa Film - €40,000.
Since 2011, the partnership between RTL and the Lëtzebuerger Filmfong has proved fruitful, encouraging the development, co-production and broadcasting of audiovisual content made in Luxembourg. Thanks to this collaboration, a number of successful series have seen the light of day, including Weemseesdet, Come Back, Zëmmer ze verlounen, routwäissgro, Capitani and Marginal as well as youth programmes as part of Kannativi.
