2019 Cannes and Annecy Festival selections feature Luxembourg co-productions

The Grand Duchy's colours will be well represented this year at the prestigious Cannes and Annecy festivals: - 3 films in the official "Un certain regard" competition at the Cannes International Film Festival (14-25.05.2019) Room 212written and directed by Christophe Honoré and co-produced by Bidibul Productions with France and Belgium. The Swallows of Kabulan animated feature film directed by Zabou Breitman and Eléa Gobbé-Mévellec, a co-production of Melusine Productions with France and Switzerland. The fire will comedirected by Oliver Laxe and co-produced by Tarantula Luxembourg with Spain and France. The film was supported by the Film Fund as part of the Cineworld grants. - 3 films selected for the Annecy International Animation Film Festival (10-15.06.2019) Competing in the Contrechamp The documentary Zero Impunity directed by Nicolas Blies, Stéphane Hueber-Blies and Denis Lambert was produced by a_BAHN & Melusine Productions with France. Competing in the ' categoryTelevision filmsthe TV series Fox & Hare directed by Mascha Halberstad and Tom van Gestel is a co-production of Doghouse Films with Belgium and the Netherlands. In selection 'Séances événements'the feature film "The Prince's Journey"directed by Jean-François Laguionie and Xavier Picard is a co-production of Melusine Productions with France. |
