The co-production ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT opens the ball for Luxembourg's official selections at the Cannes Festival 2024

The first official selections of the 77e of the Cannes Film Festival have just been announced and it is the feature film ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT by Indian director Payal Kapadia - a Les Films Fauves (Gilles Chanial and Govinda Van Maele) co-production with France, India and the Netherlands - has been announced in the festival's official competition.
The film received financial support from the Film Fund Luxembourg as part of the "Cineworld" selective financial aid scheme.
Other selections are still awaited and will be announced next week.
To promote Luxembourg cinema at the world's largest international film market, the Film Fund Luxembourg will be present at Cannes from 14 to 23 May 2024 with its pavilion in the International Village. It will host around twenty companies and entities under this umbrella, including production companies and companies specialising in post-production, sound and new technologies, as well as the EAVE training programme, the Luxembourg City Film Festival and the Europe Creative - Media support programme.
The traditional Luxembourg Day will take place on Saturday 18 May in the presence of the Minister for Culture, Eric Thill, and professionals from the audiovisual and press industries.
