The cultural and film sector mourns the death of Frank Feitler

We were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Frank Feitler on 21 December at the age of 73. A key figure in the world of Luxembourg theatre and cinema, he leaves behind an indelible mark on the cultural institutions he directed.

In 1996, Frank Feitler founded the production company Red Lion alongside Tarak Ben Amar, Pol Cruchten and Jeanne Geiben. As a director, scriptwriter and producer, he has left a remarkable mark. His collaboration with Pol Cruchten on the film " Boys on the run "in 2001, as well as other landmark works such as Rusty Boys "in 2017 and Little Duke "In 2022, he and Andy Bausch co-starred in the film, a testament to his talent and impact on the film industry.

Frank Feitler was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Film Fund from 2009 to 2014.
