3 new co-production agreements have been signed by the Luxembourg Government (with Canada and China, as well as the Council of Europe's Revised European Convention on Cinematographic Co-production). These agreements aim to encourage the development of film co-productions between Luxembourg and its foreign partners.

As part of the partnership with RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg, the first episodes of the sitcom entitled Zëmmer ze verlounen have been broadcast on television since 11 September.

In the field of new media, and in particular virtual and augmented reality and transmedia, the Fund has continued its efforts to support initiatives such as the film Fan Club co-produced by a_BAHN and by visiting dedicated markets to explore all the possibilities offered to producers by the development and production of forward-looking projects.

"With 6 films currently being shot, 12 animated films being made in the studios and just as much work in post-production, it's fair to say that the audiovisual production sector is active. Since the start of the new school year, the Grand Duchy's cinemas have been showing home-produced films such as " Meng Kollegen aus dem All "or The Breadwinner ". We're also looking forward to the film Superjhemp retörns which will be released on 24 October," said Guy Daleiden.
