The Luxembourg film industry is saddened once again by the death of producer Nick Rollinger
The Fonds national de soutien à la production audiovisuelle team is deeply saddened to learn of the death of Nick Rollinger, director of the audiovisual production company Equinox Productions.
Passionate about 7e art, cultural heritage and music 'made in Luxembourg', Nick Rollinger had several strings to his bow.
Thanks to the dedication of Nick and his company Equinox Productions, short films such as Asta by Olivier Koos or The Past we Live in by Jérôme Weber have received support from Filmfong. Just last week, a new project by Nick delighted the Fund's Selection Committee, who awarded him a grant for the short film Who will separate us by Gil Pinheiro.
His enthusiasm for the development of new technologies led him to found the VRcreative initiative, whose activities are strongly focused on the discovery and playful experience of immersive technologies in schools and tourist environments.
With Nick Rollinger, a second outstanding producer passes away too soon, less than a month after the departure of Pol Cruchten.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.
