The Magritte Awards for Belgian Cinema 2022: 7 nominations and 2 Luxembourg co-productions in the running

Nominations for the next Magritte of Belgian cinema have been announced and Luxembourg will be represented with 2 feature films:

Les Intranquillesdirected by Joachim Lafosse and co-produced by Samsa Film, will compete in 6 categories: Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor (Patrick Descamps), Best Set Design and Best Editing.

Jumbodirected by Zoé Wittock and co-produced by Les Films Fauves, will be competing in the Best First Film category.

After a one-year break in 2021 due to a health crisis, the Magritte du Cinéma awards will be back on 12 February for an 11th edition.^e edition, with many more films in the running than usual.
