The Fonds national de soutien à la production audiovisuelle and RTL Luxembourg strengthen their partnership for 2018
Guy Daleiden, director of the Film Fund Luxembourg, and Steve Schmit, director of content and deputy director of RTL Luxembourg, have announced the projects they will be co-producing together and which will be part of the television programme schedule in 2018.
"Zëmmer ze verlounen
This new 12-episode, 26-minute sitcom is the brainchild of a collective of writer-directors under the supervision of Marco Serafini and produced by Calach Films. It follows the adventures of Max, a young actor, and his various flatmates. The lead role is played by Tommy Schlesser, who previously appeared in the sitcom Come Back; young actress Hana Sofia Lopes and Fabienne Hollwege are also in the cast. The first episodes will be broadcast on the national channel in autumn 2018.
"routwäissgro
Et de 1 et de 2 et 3: this documentary series, in which each episode follows a person in their daily life, is made by 'Kollektiv 13', a group of writer-directors, and produced by Jesus Gonzalez (Calach Films). Since its first broadcast in March 2015, the series has now reached its 2nd episode.e season on the small screen. The heads of the Fund and RTL have already planned a season 3, which has just gone into production and will be available from the start of the 2018 autumn season.
"Tirlitivi - Planet Kids
Since the launch of the daily "youth slot" in the RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg programme in 2014, the animated children's series - dubbed into Luxembourgish by Jang Linster Studios - have been a great success on the Luxembourg television channel. The 2018 season of "Tirlitivi - Planet Kids" is therefore looking very promising. It will first include episodes of "De klenge Lou an d'Loulou" (P'tits Bob & Bobette / Doghouse Films) and "De Siggy an de Zoo-Tram" (Fabrique d'Images), and then episodes of "Ernest et Célestine, La Collection" (Melusine Productions, a series selected in official competition at the 2017 Annecy Animation Film Festival).
Guy Daleiden and Steve Schmit are delighted with the fruitful cooperation they have enjoyed over the years, and intend to continue developing partnerships in the future to help audiences discover audiovisual productions made in Luxembourg.
