Xavier Bettel, Luxembourg's Minister for Communications and the Media, visited The Picture Factory animation studios run by the Fabrique d'Images production company in Kehlen late yesterday. The minister had the opportunity to learn about several projects by Luxembourg directors, including Sean MacCormack, who is currently working on his first feature film, "Ooops! Noah is gone..." and Federico Millela and Caroline Origer, who are producing two animated series, "Percy et ses amis" and "Polo". During his visit, the minister was also able to familiarise himself with animation techniques and the various stages of production.

While in Kehlen, Xavier Bettel also visited the Filmland studios. The minister was welcomed by a delegation of ULPA producers and then visited the facilities, which include filming and post-production studios, production offices and construction workshops. In particular, he was able to discover the world of post-production, which offers high-quality services in the fields of sound (Dolby Atmos), colour grading and image and special effects editing.
