Prix Eurimages 2009 for Jani Thiltges

Jani Thiltges (Samsa Film) receives the European Coproduction Award – Prix Eurimages 2009 – at the European Film Academy Awards.

For their "decisive role favouring the developpment and the promotion of european cinema" Luxembourg’s Jani Thiltges (Samsa Film) receives the Best European Coproduction Award – Prix Eurimages 2009 – from the hands of actress Victoria Abril.The co-recipient of this award was Diana Elbaum (Belgium, Entre Chien et Loup.

Thiltges and Elbaum have coproduced a great number of successful films in the past years such as f.ex "Irina Palm" (Sam Garbarski).

This award is not only dedicated to their respective careers but also for their joint cooperation and their engagement with respect to many european projects, be it for films they produce as well as for their production structures.
