64th Cannes Film Festival!

Coproduction "Les Géants" selected in the "Director’s Fortnight. Young Producer David Grumbach participates in "Producers on the move"

The 64th Cannes Film Festival will be held from 11-22 May 2011.

David Grumbach, producer at Paul Thiltges Distributions, will represent Luxembourg as the "Producer on the Move" organized by the European Film Promotion.

25 outstanding film producers from 25 countries will be taking part in the networking platform "Producer on the move"

Over three days, the EFP member organisations’ selection of enterprising producers will be put into the spotlight and brought together with the international film industry and press. They will be able to discuss ideas as well as the planning and financing of international projects, and explore the potential for possible co-productions.

David Grumbach was selected by Film Fund Luxembourg to represent the Grand Duchy.

Samsa Film’s (producer Jani Thiltges) coproduction "LES GEANTS" will be the closing film at this year’s "Director’s Fortnight". The film is directed by Bouli Lanners.

The Luxembourg Film Fund will be located in the Village international (n. 129) with its traditional Pavilion.
