8th edition of the CINENYGMA International Film Festival in Luxembourg from 28 March 2004 to 2 April 2004
The Luxembourg film ‘George and the Dragon’, a world premier, opens the 8th edition of this year’s Cinénygma Film Festival. The movie was produced by Luxembourg resident Tom Reeve and produced by Romain Schroeder from the Carousel Picture Company.
The movie was shot almost entirely in Luxembourg.

Plot summary :
Returning home to England from the Crusades, George, an English Knight, finds the kindly King Edgaar in a terrible state. His daughter, Princess Lunna, has disappeared. George agrees to help find her along with Garth – Lunna’s fiancé. They find the princess in a cave, where she guards an egg entrusted to her by a dragon. Realizing they are being chased by a band of ransom seeking mercenaries, the group moves North taking the egg with them. Garth steals away with Lunna trying to force their early marriage, but George interrupts now fully aware of Garth’s plans. Before they can complete their struggle they are alerted to the arrival of El Cabillo and his mercenaries. In the midst of the ensuing battle, the egg hatches. Torn between his belief that the dragon must be destroyed and his love for the princess, George makes a decision that re – writes history and creates a legend that has lasted a thousand years.
