“A Greyhound of a Girl” at the 35th edition of the Galway Film Fleadh

Luxembourg’s animated feature film "A Greyhound of a Girl", directed by Enzo d’Alo and co-produced by Paul Thiltges Distributions, celebrated its Irish Premiere at this years Galway Film Fleadh. Ireland’s leading film event, a six-day international film festival takes place every July on the very edge of Europe. This year marked the festival’s momentous 35th edition.

The heartfelt drama tells the story of 11 year old Mary who has an insuppressible passion for cooking: she dreams of becoming a great chef. Her grandmother Emer, with whom she has a very special relationship, encourages her to make this dream come true. But every path has its pesky obstacles, and facing them turns into quite an adventure. Mary thus begins a journey across the barriers of time, in which four generations of women come together and get to know each other truly and deeply.
