PREIS DER DEUTSCHEN SCHALLPLATTENKRITIK – to Antoine Prum who directed the documentary about Sunny Murray "Sunny’s Time now" which was produced by Paul Thiltges. The prize giving was taking place during the annual "Berlinale" reception hosted by the Luxembourg Embassy in Berlin and Film Fund Luxembourg.
MR. FRANCOIS BILTGEN, Minister for Communications and Media attended the BERLINALE, holding a great number of political meetings with his counterparts. He also attended the reception at the Luxembourg Embassy to show his continuous support to the local film industry.
FONDATION THIERRY VAN WERVEKE – During a special screening hosted by Paul Thiltges and Til Schweiger’s production company Barefoot Films – the Thierry van Werveke Foundation (www.fondationtvw.lu) – was launched officially in Germany. The Foundation was set up in memory of the late actor Thierry van Werveke and it’s main goal is to raise funds for young "troublemakers" meaning young people in social, emotional and physical distress.
