Luxembourg wins its first Cesar with Ernest & Celestine

The Cesars were handed out on Friday evening 22nd February 2013 in Paris at the "Théâtre du Châtelet".

The hand-drawn animated feature film "Ernest and Celestine", directed by Benjamin Renner, Vincent Patar, and Stéphane Aubier and coproduced by Stephan Roelants (Melusine Productions) wins the Cesar for the best animated film.

Synopsis:

This is the story of the friendship between Ernest, a big bear who wants to become an artist and Celestine, a little mouse who doesn’t want to become a dentist.

With the voices of Lambert Wilson (Ernest, the bear) and Pauline Brunner (Celestine, the mouse).
