La Régate (Boat Race) receives « Public Award » at the 22nd Premiers Plan Film Festival in Angers

Samsa Film’s "La Régate" wins "Public Award" at Angers.

La Régate (Boat Race) is the first feature film by Bernard Bellefroid and coproduced by Claude Waringo (Samsa Film). It is the film’s 3rd recognition after winning two prizes at the 2009 Namur Film Festival (Youth Prize and Public Prize).

La Régate is a coproduction between Luxembourg’s Samsa Film and Artémis Productions (B) and Liaison Cinématographique (F).

The film will be released in Luxembourg theaters on 26 February 2010.
