The 2015 edition of the EAVE Producers Workshop

As every year, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is the home base for the first session of the EAVE Producers Workshop, organized in partnership with the Film Fund Luxembourg during March 9 – 16, 2015 at the Légère Premium Hotel Luxembourg. Out of some 170 applications from 45 countries, we selected 52 up-and-coming producers from 31 countries with 33 documentary and feature projects to be developed throughout the year. 

Workshop 1’s pedagogical team is composed of EAVE Head of Studies Jani Thiltges (Samsa Film, LU), the four group leaders (all active, experienced producers), Roshanak Behesht Nedjad (Flying Moon, DE), Lise Lense-Møller (Magic Hour Films, DK),Riina Sildos (Amrion, EE) and Patrick Sobelman (Agat Films & Cie / Ex Nihilo, FR); the script consultants Clare Downs (UK), Jacques Akchoti (FR), Martin Daniel (USA), and documentary expert Sylvia Stevens (Faction Films, UK). They are joined by the EAVE specialized experts – for Pitching: Sibylle Kurz (DE), Finance and Company Planning: Linda Beath (Ideal Filmworks, IT) and Legal Issues: Katrine Schlüter Schierbeck (Johan Schlüter law firm, DK), who share their expertise in plenary and group work sessions and individual meetings with the EAVE participants.
