This is the story of a young man and a beautiful spy – each on a mission that will alter the course of their lives. Set in Paris in 1969, Paul Ballard, an assistant editor on an expensive futuristic spy thriller, spends his free time filming his own first film with the little money he has and the camera and film he “borrows” from the production. Starring a beautiful agent named Dragonfly, the spy film gets into major problems, the director is fired, as will be his replacement, until the producer decides to give Paul his chance to finish the film and find an explosive ending.

A wild turn of events ensues in which Paul’s life and the movies he is directing become tow sides of the same coin. The tensions build as Paul gets closer to finding the perfect ending for his film and Dragonfly nears the end of her mission, culminating in a shocking conclusion that reveals the truth about Paul and Dragonfly.
