Against The Flow

Dayao et Tiantian vivent à la campagne mais travaillent d’arrache-pied en ville. Elle souhaite y acheter un appartement, estimant que c’est le seul moyen pour leur futur bébé et pour eux d’espérer une vie meilleure. Lorsque Dayao survit miraculeusement à un accident, il se transforme, libéré de ses chaînes. Il attend qu’elle quitte la ville pour le suivre dans la forêt où il s’est installé.

Dayao and Tiantian live in the countryside but work like dogs in the city. She wants to buy an apartment there, she reckons it’s the only way for their unborn baby and them to hope for a better life. When Dayao miraculously survives an accident, he is transformed, freed from his chains. He waits for her to leave the city and follow him into the forest where he settles.
