Jeff Desom is a writer, film director and visual effects artist. After his graduation at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth (UK), where he had specialized in directing, he created a number of outstanding works, among others the music videos Morgenrot and The Key. Combining live-action, found footage and digital effects, his work has been selected and awarded at a number of festivals around the world. He is mainly known for The Plot Spoiler (2006) a no-budget film awarded for the best Luxembourgish short film in 2007, X on a Map (2009) selected at the 31st Moscow International Film Festival and Rear Window (2012) which received the Golden Nica Award of the Ars Electronica.He works between Luxembourg and Los Angeles. |
